Good Start = Good Day

Who would have thought I'd find the exact words I needed to hear read this morning would be on Pinterest?
Thanks, Jesus, for finding me - even online.

This week has been really hard on me and I'm so thankful for this quiet morning I've had.
It's so refreshing to be up before the sun in my warm apartment, drinking coffee and reading my bible.

I've got errands to run and crafty projects I'd love to start.
Do you have any Saturday plans?
Whatever you do, start your day with a little quiet time..it'll make all the difference!

On Saturday Mornings

One of my favorite things to do on a Saturday morning is catch up on my favorite blogs.
Kinda like Saturday morning cartoons for grown ups!

Here are some of my favorite posts from this week...
Enjoy!

As a creative minded person, it's sometimes hard for me to verbalize my way of thinking. Like what I look for through my lens. This post from Stesha (via The Shine Project) puts into words 5 important tips I couldn't have said better myself.

Elsie has great insight when it comes to journaling and prioritizing ideas - the good and the bad!

Rachel has some of the best DIYs ever and this one is no exception!
          {she also posted this project on ABM...aah! I can't wait to make my own!}

Savannah was in my neck of the woods last week. It was fun to see posts about my city from a blogger across the country whose blog I've read about for so long!

Sydney just had a baby! I've been blog stalking her for more photos of baby Everett. Come meet this sweet little family!

That's it for now. Of course, there are so many great blogs out there, I couldn't post all the great ones here in one day. What is one of your favorite blogs to catch up on?

Saturday, November 5

Today my To-Do list was really long.
I was stressed that I wouldn't get everything done.
Then I realized running errands meant driving down pretty streets lined with these gorgeous trees.

In this crazy-busy season, I've been trying really hard to enjoy the little things that I love about Autumn.
Wouldn't it be horrible if my favorite time of year passed while I was too caught up in tasks and schedules and errands?

Take a second to notice the golden glow of the leaves around you.
The smell of cinnamon and pine trees wafting from the shops as you pass.
It's really really lovely.
Don't miss it!

Bangs, Boots, and Ombre

I dunno, whatdya think?
I colored my own hair and tried to go for the ombre feel.
Maybe I could have darker at the top?
Either way, I like it.
And it's nice to have my bangs back.
They add style even if I don't do anything more than a quick blow dry.

And those boots?
$24 and Goodwill.
Thank you, Thank you. Yes, Thank you.
I'd been looking for months  and was determined to hold out for the perfect pair.
Viola!
Good things come to those who wait and I love my new boots!!

And aren't those leaves loooovely?!
It's November!!
