Broccoli, Ham, & Pasta

Caroline cooked dinner for us the last night, what a treat! There were only a couple ingredients but it was a really, really, tasty meal. And she's going to share it with you, luckies! 
Step One: Steam broccoli until just before tender. You'll sauté it a bit later so don't cook it all the way! Step Two: Put spaghetti on to boil Step Three: Dice the tomatoes, garlic, and ham Step Four: Heat oil over medium high heat and add garlic, sautéing for just a minute. Then add ham, cook for a couple minutes, until slightly browned, and then add tomatoes. Add steamed broccoli and cover, turning down to medium low and simmer. When the pasta is al dente, drain and melt the butter in the hot noodles. Add the meat and veggies, mix, and enjoy! Okay, that last step was kind of a long one…ha! 






I found out this was one of Camillo's favorite dishes growing up. Isn't that fun? Thank you, Caroline, for teaching me so I can make this great meal for Camillo and Ollie :)
